Frequently asked questions
Do I need a partner?
No. Students rotate partners during class, so you can come solo or with a friend — either works.
I have zero dance experience. Will I keep up?
Yes. Each class starts from the basics. Most students arrive with no salsa background. We break down footwork slowly and build up patterns together.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move in. Comfortable shoes with smooth-ish soles are ideal — avoid sticky rubber that grips the floor when you turn. Bring water.
Can I drop in for one class?
Absolutely. Tap any class on the calendar to book a single drop-in — pay as you go, no commitment. Save with a class pack if you plan to come back.
Do you offer refunds if I miss a class?
You can reschedule up to 24 hours before the class — just email us at licsalsaschool@gmail.com. Within 24 hours of the class, the booking is non-refundable.
Where exactly are you in LIC?
42-01 Crescent St, Long Island City, NY 11101. We're three minutes from the Queens Plaza E/M/R and Queensboro Plaza 7/N/W stops.
